Great for practice!

Our son uses this to practice welding scrap metal. He is getting plenty of use out of it and it works well. Can’t beat the price either.

This is not a heavy duty, long cycle machine, but I’m surprised by how lightweight this thing is and that it can run a bead! This is perfect to have in your farm truck that has a decent little inverter in it. You could easily mend fence panels with this and it’s small and lightweight so it could ride in the backseat of an extended cab?not sure if it would fit behind the seat of a regular cab?it’d be close.I wouldn’t run tig on it without a shielding gas source, it’s not really set up for that.Good springs on the clamps. Good cables.Good little portable stick welder for a low price!
