A 140A 5-in-1 Pulse MIG welder that weighs 9.8 lb yet takes a full 10 lb wire spool — gas MIG, flux core, Lift TIG, stick, plus Pulse and SPOT modes.
The MIG-140 Pro is the portable one-machine shop: weld with gas at the bench, switch to gasless flux core outdoors, then finish thick stock in Stick. Pulse tames thin metal; the SPOT timer tacks panels without burn-through. It runs on 110V or 220V and welds steel and stainless — it is not rated for aluminum.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can it weld aluminum?
No. The MIG-140 Pro is a DC machine built for mild steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and titanium. For aluminum welding, step up to the SD-4050 Pro , which welds aluminum with Pulse MIG — no spool gun needed.
Can it weld with gas AND without gas?
Yes. Connect shielding gas and use the included solid wire for clean gas MIG, or load flux core wire for gasless welding outdoors or in the wind. One machine covers both workflows.
Is Pulse available in every mode?
No. Pulse activates on flux core MIG, Lift TIG, and Stick. It does not apply to gas MIG — use standard MIG settings there for the cleanest gas welds.
Does it come with a TIG torch?
No — the WP17V (or WP26V) TIG torch is sold separately. The machine ships with the MIG torch and all accessories listed under What's in the Box.
How often do I need to change the wire spool?
The MIG-140 Pro accepts both 2 lb and 10 lb spools. With a standard 2 lb spool on a typical portable welder, you might reload every 1–2 projects. With a 10 lb spool, most home users go 4–8 weeks between spool changes.
Is it good for complete beginners?
Yes — it was designed with first-time welders in mind: Synergic MIG mode automatically matches wire feed speed to your voltage, the SPOT timer gives precise short bursts for tack welds, and Pulse mode delivers controlled heat.
