Surprisingly good welder!

Although it's a bit slower than most welders, this is actually solid. Got this when it was on special and absolutely no regrets. I'm a hobbyist welder, have multiple welders across the board and I have to say, this is better than most 300+ dollar welders! For the compact size it sure does a decent job. Bang for buck, I have no complaints.Pros: Solid stream puddles nicely, compact, portable, regular socket, versatile, priceCons: Fastest setting is still slow, burns a bit colder than reported

!!The cooling fan and the ground cable needs some upgrading!!

I've been welding for almost 25 years and this seems to be a pretty solid welding machine for the past 40 days using it, it's just that the cooling fan and the ground cable are pretty small and could use some upgrading and most likely I will end up upgrading everything both myself to continue to use it without burning it up other than that it welds pretty good I will say!!

Great little welder. Arc start is excellent and overall a good value.

SIMDER 140m - I have been using the welder for more than a month and find the results are very good. I used both flux core welding and SCAW both DC- and DC+. All functions work well. I am able to make much better flux welds than with a previous machine. I tested operation on 220vac and 120vac and both work fine. My 120vac outlet is 20amp. I made up a current setting chart versus thickness based on 1mm flux wire and welds I made with mild steel. I hope others find the chart useful. Voltage setting is typically lower for thin material and higher for thicker materials I did not record. I did make some good 1mm flux wire welds on 0.045" material. I also made solid flux welds on 1/2" rebar.

Well had a hiccup but looks to be working now

Second time using this and it blew up on me. Wash of money. It sound like a firecracker Going off. Ok here's a update. Company sent me a new welder and so far so good. Only used it for a little bit but today I'll be putting it through the test by welding trailer fenders on. Fingers crossed it won't do what it did before. Other then that the company was very helpful and sent me a replacement out asap and had it in 4days
